Leadership Development
At Camp Grace we strive to challenge you in your walk with Christ. During summer camp we have focused times of teaching, sharing and discipleship. Throughout the school year, we desire to challenge your growth as well. We have set up 8 months of goals and challenges for you to accomplish with the purpose of strengthening your walk with Christ and bringing Him glory.
Each month the assignment will be displayed here. You will find the assignment for that month. In addition to the monthly assignments, you will also be given a key passage of Scripture to memorize. There are no promised rewards, compensations or prizes for completing these tasks. These are simply challenges to encourage your growth. When you complete an assignment, mail or e-mail it to:
Camp Grace 145 Grace Dr Fairmont, NC 28340
campgrace@hughes.net
Put “Leadership Development” in the subject line.
Assignments should be turned in by the 20th of each month and the next assignment will be posted shortly thereafter.

Also for the October assignment you need to memorize Psalms 1: 1-6. Now Beth’s kids, ages 5 and 7 have been memorizing this the past month and have it almost down, so we really hope you can do it too! She does have a song to go with it if you need some extra help!
December Assignment We apologize for not getting the November Assignment flushed out in Detail, but as you can see from the listing above it was a witnessing assignment. Telling someone who doesn’t know about Jesus about His love, sacrifice, and what He means in your life. It doesn’t have to be a big event or anything, but if you shared your faith with someone we’d love to hear about it.
For December we’d like you to read a Christian book and share you thoughts on it with us. It can be a devotional, biography, non fiction, etc. It just needs to be a book that brings glory to Christ and challenges your walk, other than the Bible. It doesn’t have to be lengthy or wordy, just share with us what you got from the experience
January- Witnessing: We are challenging you to share your faith in Christ, and what He has done in your life, with someone who doesn't know Him. It doesn't have to be big or dramatic, but just genuine. When you do, tell us how the experience went for you, how it was responded to, and if you gained any insight. Try to pass this on to us by January 20th.
March’s leadership assignment is: Witnessing. Once again we are challenging you to share your faith with others. Remember, it doesn’t have to be anything dramatic or crazy, just simply sharing with someone else that you place your faith in Jesus Christ. You have faith that He loves you, saves you, will always be there for you, and loves the person you are talking to. When you are honest and open about it you will be amazed how others respond. So find someone this month, and share your faith. Write us back and let us know how it went.
Also we would like to challenge you to memorize the first 14 Verses of the book of John. (John 1:1-14) It’s no easy task but it’ll benefit you greatly. We look forward to hearing from you.
